On the day of this post I created a fine bbq sauce and some veggie jerky. While sitting around all day smoking jerky and drinking fine malt beverages a bbq feast was also needed. I took some seitan that I had used to make jerky and marinated it in the bbq sauce I had made. This made an amazingly tasty bbq seitan “steak”.
That is the extent of this amazingly tasty recipe.
Please enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 seitan loaf (I used the same seitan that i used to make veggie jerky, but you can use any seitan recipe. Follow the link for veggie jerky and follow the instructions for the making of seitan part. Do not use jerky marinade)
1/2 cup windsor style bbq sauce (also follow link for instructions)
Directions:
Marinate for 4-6 hours in an airtight container or bag, then grill for approx 7 minutes on each side.
